Bon, pas de sujet sur ce groupe : je remédie à ça

J'ai découvert ce groupe un peu par hasard lorsque Lex Koritni est venu interpréter You shook me all night long de AC/DC avec Pat McManus au New Morning en mars 2009

Du coup je me suis procuré leur albums et je suis allé les voir (en charmante compagnie) au Trabendo. Malgré la fatigue du concert et le chanteur malade ce jour là, ils sont tous venus parler aux fans dans la salle : vraiment sympa

Voix éraillée, bon Rock 'n' Roll influencé par le Blues sont au programme : on tape du pied en permanence

J'ai mis le premier album de Green Dollar Colour dans cette discographie, parce que c'est suite à son départ de ce groupe Lex Koritni a fondé le groupe Koritni. A noter que Eddy Santacreu (guitares) et un frenchie au sein de ce groupe Australien

Le groupe sort le 23 juillet une compilation intitulée No more bets. Et contrairement à la plupart des compilations qui sortent sur le marché, celle-ci est vraiment intéressante pour les fans car elle contient des tonnes d'inédits :

Petit groupe super sympa avec des musiciens super sympas en effet! Du super bon hard rock!

C'est un groupe que j'ai découvert et beaucoup apprécié au hellfest 2009 mais que je n'ai plus jamais écouté depuis c'est peut être l'occasion de m'y remettre !

Pub vue dans le dernier Rock Hard. Je n'ai vu aucune autre information concernant ce live nulle part ailleurs.

Verycords is proud to announce the release of “ALIVE & KICKING”, a new live KORITNI double CD+DVD set, on Monday, January 14, 2013 in France through Warner (available internationally in February).



“ALIVE & KICKING” was recorded & filmed on June 16, 2012, in front of over 20,000 people at Hellfest, France, during the latest tour in support of their acclaimed release “Welcome To The Crossroads”. Additional live footage was recorded in Paris, while two acoustic bonus tracks were performed for the radio show “Pop Rock Station by Zégut” on RTL2.



Mixed by Dean Maher (Nickelback, Bryan Adams) and mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, the live CD collects 17 tracks, 15 being previously unreleased in a live version. Even the two tracks already present on “Red Live Joint” will feature this time a different solo. Furthermore, some alternative takes, different from the ones initially broadcasted, were used for the two acoustic tracks.



The Hellfest show was filmed digitally using 11 HD cameras, mixed in both Stereo and 5.1 Surround, which serves to accentuate the live atmosphere of the performance.
